In my non-objective artwork, composition becomes important, and the title often gives the viewer a glimpse of the motivating influence. While composition is important, I strive for for a look of controlled carelessness in the overall image. Overly neat and tidy compositions do not work for me. I always make sure circles are not perfect circles.

Travel is a big part of my life. Whenever I return from a trip, the next paintings seem to take on the colors and shapes of the place visited. "Jubililation" is a good example.
