This piece could qualify as "deconstructed" art. Materials in various colors and shapes were adhered to the canvas, then scrubbed until their lines somewhat disappeared, then a wash was applied to bring an overall cohesiveness to the final image. As the process goes on, various titles for the piece are running through your thoughts--a bullfight atmosphere, an old city atmosphere, a relic, a blazing hot afternoon. The heat won.
